Lupus affects around 5million people worldwide.it mostly affects female as compared to males, lupus is an autoimmune disease whereby the immune system attacks its own tissue the condition cannot be cured but can be treated to improve quality of life.SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS
Mostly people suffering from the disease may experience pain in joint and muscles pain also occurs during breathing which can be described as a sharp pain in the chest cavity.
Lupus can cause kidney inflammation leading to a condition known as nephritis(inflammation of the kidney nephrons)due to the inflammation the waste is not completely excreted out and thus leading to the accumulation of toxins in the blood.Due to the troubled kidney symptoms such as swelling limbs and feet,frequent urination or reduced output of urine,high amount of protein in urine may arise.
Due to the inflammation brought about by the disease it affects the scalp and causes hair loss,hair loss is an early sign of lupus but must be diagnosed first in order for it to be confirmed.

5.Ensure you hydrate enough to prevent dry lips and eyes.apply eye drops such as gentamicin to prevent further infection of the eye.
